Prediction : Arizona Cardinals +3
Analysis : After a disastrous 0-6 start, the Titans have bounced back to win 4 in a row. As impressive as Tennessee has been, it is hard to ignore the value we are getting on the Cards as a road underdog. Arizona is 5-0 straight up and 4-1 ATS in its 5 road contests this season. Additionally, the Cards are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 contests as an underdog. Kurt Warner suffered a mild concussion last week but it appears that he is good to go. Everyone knows what the Cards can do on offense but their defense is quite underrated and is one of the main reasons why the Cards have been so successful on the road this season. The Cards have allowed an average of only 14.2 points per game and 81.2 rushing yards in their 5 road contests. If Arizona’s defense can slow down Chris Johnson then the Cards will win this one. I anticipate that the Cards won’t let Tennessee light up the scoreboard and therefore come out with their sixth road victory of the season.

Analysis : The Buc’s have taken alot of hits to their defense this year. Now, in the past week they have lost Safety Will Allen and LB Rod Wilson. That will just open the door even wider for the NFL’s most explosive air attack. QB Drew Brees will add to his 19 TD’s and 2559 YP. The successful running game of the Saint’s, now makes them a double threat. Tampa’s biggest losses this season were to New England 35-7, Philly 33-14, and New York 24-0. All teams that are considered passing teams. Today they must face the most feared passing team in the league. The Buc’s will rely on the very inexperienced Josh Freeman at QB. The road team is 9-3 ATS their L12 meetings and the Saint’s are 5-2 ATS their L7 in Tampa Bay. New Orleans is also 6-1-1 ATS their L8 road games and 11-3 ATS their L14 as a favorite. Tampa Bay is 3-8 ATS their L11 overall and 1-7 ATS their L8 at home. New Orleans lights up Tampa Bay.

Analysis : Seattle has a fighting chance to win the NFC West, but they must win this game Sunday at Arizona to pull it off. Seattle sits 2 games back of the Cardinals, but a win Sunday would draw them to within 1 game of the division lead. Arizona has been vulnerable at home this season, and they’ve actually played their best football on the road. The Cardinals are 1-3 at home this season, losing by an average of 7.8 points/game. The lost to the 49ers to open their home schedule, then lost to the Colts 10-31 followed by a 7-point home win over Houston and then a 21-34 loss to Carolina on their home turf. So the Cardinals have yet to win a home game by more than a touchdown. Arizona will get Seattle’s best effort this weekend as this is the Seahawks’ season, and that effort will be good enough to stay within a touchdown and possibly pull off the upset. The Cardinals have struggled against the pass, giving up 247 passing yards/game this season and Seattle’s strength is their passing attack. The Seahawks are averaging 236 passing yards/game. Two early turnovers by Seattle gave Arizona a quick 14-0 lead in the first quarter of their first meeting this season, so look for the Seahawks to come out and take care of the ball Sunday to avoid another big early deficit this time around. The Cardinals are 7-15 ATS in their last 22 games as a home favorite of 3.5-10.0. Take Seattle and the points as they lay it all on the line Sunday.

Analysis : Despite losing 3 in a row, Mike Singletary has done a great job with this franchise. The 49ers held right in there with the Colts on the road last week and could have easily won the game outright. The same thing happened a week earlier in Houston where the 49ers battled back from a 21 point deficit. Additionally, they almost defeated Minnesota on the road but lost because of a last second 32 yard touchdown by Brett Favre. Alex Smith has done a good job running this team since he stepped in two weeks ago and has giving them the spark they needed. Although he lost last week and they lost the week before when he came in for the 2nd half they looked like a different team. San Francisco is only 3-4 but the 49ers are 5-1-1 ATS this season. Tennessee is in town off of their 1st win all season after Vince Young got the start. The Titans’ defense is allowing 30.1 points per game and a whooping 394.9 total yards. I do not expect Tennessee to even compete in this game as last week was their win but the previous 6 weeks was more or less a complete disaster. The 49ers will put pressure on Vince Young and shutdown Chris Johnson. San Fran will try and make it to 4-4 this week and run all over Tennessee.

Analysis : Last week we saw the Saints absolutely destroy a very good Giants team. Proving at the same time that they are not the finesse team that everyone claimed them to be. This week they once again will prove why they are a serious threat to win it all this year as they have to face a very physical Dolphins team. The good news is the best offense in the league will score early and often for the Saints. That will make the Dolphins have to abandon the run early in the game and take away their strength. Actually think this one might get out of hand early and NO easily covers this spread!.

Analysis : New York Jets’ starter Mark Sanchez will struggle in his first regular season start of his career. Not only is it his first start, but it comes on the road against a hungry Houston Texans’ fan base so expect it to be very hostile. To make matters worse on Sanchez, his defense is missing several key players. DE Shaun Ellis and LB Calvin Pace are both missing this game Sunday due to suspension. The Jets’ defense was awful in the preseason, giving up 23 or more points in every game. They’ll have their hands full against a Houston offense that put up 25.7 points/game at home last season, going 6-2 SU & 5-3 ATS in front of their home fans. Matt Schaub is back at the helm, and this Texans’ offense is one of the most potent in the league with Schaub under center and healthy.
